Granite Cladding Architectural Fountain
Located in the upscale Stonebridge Shopping Center at Potomac Town Center, this custom fountain is composed of a floating granite disc and sixteen frothy nozzles in a round concrete basin with granite stone cladding. Two missing segments of the floating disc allow water to spray out of the frothy nozzles and rise to a height of three feet. As the disc rotates weightlessly on a thin film of water, a moving ring of jets is created. The water splashes down into the basin and flows over a slanted, precision-cut, octagonal water wall.
